Duties and Responsibilities:
INSTRUCTIONAL 1. Develops, identifies, evaluates, and selects curricular resources
MANAGEMENT related to the cognitive intervention program.
2. Develops or revises curriculum based on systematic review.
3. Assists in designing effective learning experiences for students.
4. Evaluates and recommends instructional materials to meet student learning needs.
5. Demonstrates appropriate instructional techniques and approaches to effectively implement the cognitive intervention program.
6. Reviews professional literature/research and disseminates information related to instructional processes and strategies.
7. Coordinates the implementation of the cognitive intervention program and special programs/projects as assigned.

16. Provides technical assistance and support related to the cognitive intervention program.

18. Assists faculty and staff through training and consulting.
ADMINISTRATION 19. Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to

28. Gathers information for needs assessment by survey, observation, and/or interview.
29. Locates resources or designs training materials and formats for presentation.
30. Evaluates effectiveness of staff development activities and provides follow-up support.
31. Participates in professional development activities that are aligned with the goals of the department/district.
32. Performs duties in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner as defined in the SBEC Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas educators.

Educational Requirements:
Master's degree and licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.
