2024 Lions Officer Installation

Lions Officers 2024

Woodville Lions Club held its Officer Installation at the home of Lions Michael & Sondra Williams, Saturday evening, May 11, with catering by J' Birds Dogwood Diner.  Incoming Lions President Stanley Cleberg for 2024-2025 and all the officers were installed by Past District Governor Ken Job.  Lion of the Year was presented to Gwynne Wiegand who has served in several capacities and also serves with several Lions on the team of Sleep in Heavenly Peace group that builds beds for kids in the community.

Woodville Lions Club held its Officer Installation at the home of Lions Michael & Sondra Williams, Saturday evening, May 20, with a fish fry supplied by the Woodville Fire Department.   Previous & incoming Lions President Clifton Flowers for 2023-2024 was installed by Past District Governor Daniel Shank, and Flowers gave several awards to Lions and friends of the club for distinguished service throughout three year.  Past Lion President Bryan Weatherford introduced all with a recap of the many services the local and International Lions Clubs do. Pictured are the incoming Lions officers (L-R) Flowers, Shank, Stanley Cleburg, Connie Gibson, Sondra Williams, Steven Evans, Ken Weaver, Randy Carter, Gwynne Wiegand, Ronnie Pryor.

Monday, August 12, the Tyler Commissioners Court and City of Woodville presented proclamations of recognition to the Woodville Lions Club for their 65th Anniversary of service to good people of the county.  The club has given countless scholarships, helped many children with eyeglasses, and sent many children to its Texas Lions Camp (LionsCamp.com).  In the photo (L-R) are Asst.
